One of Glasgow’s most popular entertainers was the great Glen Daly. Although Glen had appeared in all of Scotland’s top theatres, on television and had toured abroad, without doubt one of his favourite venues was Glasgow’s Ashfield Club. Glen recorded a number of albums there for the PYE record label and this ‘Very Best of Glen Daly’ compilation is taken from two of these. So enjoy this live recording made all the more enjoyable by an appreciative chorus singing audience.
