Baxter, who like Ronnie Barker, went into self-imposed retirement in the late 1980s, is fondly remembered for his risqué humour (he was an enemy of TV watchdog, Mary Whitehouse) and his wickedly funny impressions (he was the first person ever to do an impersonation of the Queen on television). 

This DVD concentrates on the six specials made for ITV in the 1970s and early 1980s and which won numerous awards including several BAFTAs
