Not usually the sort of DVD that we offer on our lists but this was too good to leave out.

It’s the full Rodgers and Hammerstein classic film ‘The Sound of Music’ starring Julie Andrews, Christopher Plummer, Peggy Wood, Eleanour Parker, Richard Haydn etc.

However not only is it the full film but the on disc options allow you to select the words of the songs as you come to them - singalong style. You can also pick out individual songs from the film. Of course you could just ignore all the options and watch an extremely good film as often as you like.

A real classic that everyone should have in their collection.
