Legendary Tayside close harmony singing group from the 1970s.

The Camperdown Singers were regular performers at ceilidhs, Burns' nights and were also favourites at the National Mod.

This CD covers a selection of their repertoire including 100,000 Welcomes, Glencoe, Bonnie Gallowa', Killiecrankie, Uist Tramping Song, A Man's a Man for a' That, Piper o' Dundee, The Road to the Isles and The Hiking Song. It also has a couple of fiddle solos from Bill Douglas, some tunes on the accordion and a bothy ballad from Jim MacFarlane.
