‘The music of the mountains and lochs lies deep in his soul', once wrote a Daily Express critic of Alasdair Gillies.
It's with some considerable pleasure that we have released this compilation of Alasdair's recordings, however on this CD you won't just visit mountains and lochs. Alasdair's songs will also take you to many other parts of Scotland. A wonderful singer with some fine orchestrations. What a pity we don't produce songsters of this calibre nowadays.
