In the 1960s TV programmes like ‘Se Ur Beatha’ brought Gaelic into Scottish homes and with it increasing popularity and interest in the songs of the Gaels and their singers. This eighteen track CD is a compilation of Gaelic recordings from that era featuring well known and lesser known performers in this beautiful language.
