Harvesting is hard work, eased gradually over the last century by more and more sophisticated machinery. This is an interesting film which starts of which some lighthearted old footage of ‘The Dancing Tractors’ but then takes you through some more recent farm machinery for ploughing, cultivating and crop spraying.

We look also at the actual harvesting and storing of crops such as potatoes, oil seed rape, barley and peas and of course grass for winter feed. Learn a bit about the machines and the men who operate them. A good representation of today’s farming.
