FEAR-AN-TIGHE

In the 1960s and 70s, traditional Scottish music was a frequent entertainment on television. ‘Fireside Ceilidh' was a series broadcast by Scottish Television, a Gaelic programme with a happy Highland atmosphere. Fear-An-Tighe (Man of the house) John Bannerman is the host of our ‘Fireside Ceilidh' with songs and music from Alasdair Gillies, Evelyn Campbell and The Bobby Harvey Quartet and other guests.
