Castles of Scotland - All Three DVDs
[Castles3DVD]

£12.99

Artiste: n/a
Label: Delta

SPECIAL OFFER - ALL THREE DVDs IN THIS SERIES FOR £12.99.

DVD1 - In this first film we will visit a few castles but most of our time is spent at two of them.

Eilean Donan, on the road to Skye and once a stronghold against Vikings. Then on to Edinburgh Castle, Scotland’s most historic building. There too we visit St. Margaret’s Chapel, the oldest building in Edinburgh.

DVD2 - The second film takes us to Castle Levan on the Banks of the River Clyde, then on to Glamis Castle childhood home of the late Queen Mother.

North next to Fort George near Inverness built after the Jacobite uprising. Then down south again to where Caerlaverock Castle stands guard like a sentry over the Solway Firth.

DVD3 - We start the third film at Fyvie Castle in Aberdeenshire then on to nearby Castle Fraser both maintained in remarkable condition.

Then we head west to the Hebridean island of Rhum, the forbidden island, to visit Kinloch Castle and finally to Ayrshire’s Culzean Castle, a true masterpiece created by architect Robert Adam.
