Took me back many years to the north east dance halls and the bonnie lasses. Jim Cameron had a distinctive sound with the cornet coming in every other measure. These recordings will be a great pleasure to anyone who ever danced live to the band or enjoyed the old 78s. They may not be hi-fi but neither were the originals - well worth a listen and a quiet sigh.
