Enchantment is a place – and a movie – called Brigadoon when Gene Kelly stars in and choreographs a lyrical film adaption of the Broadway musical.

Two New Yorkers (Gene Kelly and Van Johnson) discover a Scottish village which only comes to life for one day, once every hundred years. There Kelly and a town lass (Cyd Charrise) share the love of a lifetime within just 24 hours. But fear not, there’s magic and timeless songs afoot including ‘Almost Like Being in Love’ and ‘The Heather on the Hill’ etc.

Special features in this edition include the trailer plus three musical out-take numbers – ‘Come to Me Bend to Me’ , ‘From This Day On’ and ‘Sword Dance’. There is also an audio only recording of ‘There but for You Go I’.
