The name of the late Bobby MacLeod is surely known to lovers of Scottish Dance music wherever they are in the world. The fine accordionist, born in 1925 in Tobermory on the Island of Mull, had a professional career spanning five decades during which he made countless dance band recordings of the highest quality. This selection is from the Philips Yellow label of the 1950s.
